Primary Colors for Winter
Tuesday, January 26, 2016Maybe it's because I'm ~so~ mature now, but I really love the snow! It's so much fun to play around in and on the day of our big storm I found myself wandering around the city for hours taking it all in. I was able to snap a few really fun photos that I thought I would share with today's outfit post!
SHOP MY LOOK HERE:
Barbour: Trevose Anorak [old; identical here] / 1.STATE: Mixed Knit Sweater / Ralph Lauren: Blue Oxford / Gap: Jegging Jeans [similar] / Hunter: Red Gloss Boots / Celine: Nano Luggage [also here] / J. Crew: Gingham Umbrella / Ray-Ban: Mirror Aviators / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings / BaubleBar: Mini Monogram Necklace
Bright colors in front of a white background are always my favorite photos. The colors really come to life and it's awesome that such bold colors fit seamlessly together. I sadly haven't broken out this jacket in quite some time (it's more for rain than snow) but I just loved it so much I had to bring it back out. The last time I wore it was here in April!
Of course I'm not new to the primary color trend. I've been rocking it since September when I last sported it here in the park! Crazy to see how long my hair was back then. Some days I do really miss it but other days I'm like, "can I go shorter?" #TheStruggle
Anyway after the snow had settled the sun came out and it was my time to take some photos! I didn't really have an idea of just how much it snowed until we took these photos. It was up to the top of my boots! Every step was like, woahhh now...
I'm already planning out my adventures for this coming weekend. I just want to spend all my time in the snow! It's amazing how much you learn to love something when you find yourself appropriately dressed for the occasion.
