Who else is trying their hardest to stay bundled up in this weather? It's been C-O-L-D and I just need it to pass. Who's with me!

The Plaza Hotel (and all around the area) is one of my favorite places to take guests who are in the city. Especially around this time of year, it just *screams* holidays and, as you know, no one does the holidays like New York City.

The Plaza is at the tip of the shopping areas (all beautifully decorated), at the beginning of the park -- which has lights AND a skating rink and it just around the corner from my two favorite trees: the Palace Tree and the Rockefeller Tree. What is not to love?

Of course, it being so beautiful brings a lot of tourists and wanderers BUT the trick is to go early in the morning. These photos were taken around 10/11am on Sunday and there was just about no one around. That's pretty impressive if you ask me!

Since its been so cold I d.ecided to really bundle it up with (it seems) all the cable-knit items I can find. The first being this beanie -- I've been wearing it nonstop since I got it in --it's huge yes, but it's perfect and warm and you'll be easy to find hahah. It also comes in more muted colors if you're interested!

The next is a new to me scarf from Barbour (my love) and its dense and SUPER warm. It feels like something my mom would make and I love it! Paired it with my favorite wool coat (that I've had for over two years now and is 20% off) and you're in neutral paradise.

Then finally, there is the new cable-knit sweater dress which is a staple for anyone looking for a thicker dress for the colder months. Comes in two colors and fits TTS -- I'm wearing a Medium here and I love it. I paired it with some OTK boots for work and I was good to go!
