Cue the music! Christmas is here in the Robertson apartment. OH CHRISTMAS TREE, OH CHRISTMAS TREE....

Wrapping Paper: Both from Marshalls
Ornaments: Burlap bells from Marshalls, White Balls, Slippers
Tree Skirt: Lowes but similar HERE
Dress: Rachel Roy

(On my console: White Elephants - old from TJ Maxx, Mini trees - from Marshalls, White console - custom from Ikea, Rug - old from Wayfair)

I have to admit that the tree has been up for a while now (oops!) but I'm so happy every time I see it I don't even care! I found the perfect tree this year. When I bought it in-store weeks ago it was only $99. The tree itself is everything I wanted: pre-lit with warm lights, slight flocking and pinecones, 7.5 feet tall and easy to assemble.

What I REALLY love about this tree is that there is only one plug. The rest of the wires go through the tree and connect through the stand. All you have to do is put the top, middle and bottom together and the tree lights up on its own. It's awesome.

As for decoration, I really didn't know what theme I wanted, but when I first started shopping I found those burlap bells at Marshalls and used them as my inspiration. From there I went to Michael's which is the mecca of all things Christmas and started picking out a ton of decorations that I liked.

I would take them home, put them on the tree, take away what I didn't like, return them and go buy more of what I did like. The plan was to have more of a neutral tree with pops of red here and there.  It's just not Christmas without some red! I grabbed some big poinsettias and called it a day.

As for the rest of the apartment, the TV console and windowsill are decorated. We don't have a ton of room, and I didn't want it to be any more crowded or cluttered than it needed to be.

What do you guys think? I hope you love it as much as I do! Let me know any questions below.
