T-minus 24 hours guys! I have so much left to do before I leave tomorrow morning. So much that instead of just freaking out and dying over it you kind of just have this calm about you. It's a dangerous thing!

Shopping: Yikes! DID SO MUCH SHOPPING FOR SAINT LUCIA!!! I literally cannot put it all in one place because it will take up the entire blog post. So I'm going to share my top five favorite things:
-Ted Baker dress (with navy bows!)

Reading: I'm bringing The Vanishing Year, The Hating Game and Rich and Pretty with me to Saint Lucia and I'm about to crush some reading! And hopefully some writing ;)

Weekend Plans: Ummmm relaxing on the beach... soaking up the sun... hanging out with the fam bam....

Most Popular Item This Week: This Milly Dress (that is the most beautiful print!!)

Favorite Finds:

Favorite Blogger Post: Taylor once again kills it with this seersucker stripe skirt -- seriously HOW CUTE IS SHE!

Song of the Week: "California Sun" by Corey Harper -- the discover weekly this week on Spotify was amazing and this song was on it. Can't stop listening and dancing to it. Such a good chill out and relax song.

A Must Watch: I'm plugging my own video this week which is my Makeup Routine for Blog Photos! I'm actually not going to be sharing the videos here on the blog each week so if you want to stay up to date, please be sure to subscribe HERE. I will be posting once during the week and once on the weekend so it would stink to miss out!

A Must Read/Listen to: A podcast is like reading, right? I am five episodes in to the "S-Town" podcast (they posted it all at once so you can binge). And why it says it's a murder mystery it sharply turns away in the third episode and while you have no idea where it's really going, it's one of those things you can't stop listening to!

T-minus 48 hours until I am in Saint Lucia for a WEEK!! I could not be more excited and I need time to speed up (until we land and then slowwwww down). And nothing makes me more excited to travel than some new bags!

SHOP THIS POST HERE:

Somedays Loving: Crochet Kimono / Topshop: Scallop Tank (old; similar HERE) / AG: Legging Ankle Jeans / Barrington Gifts: Cosmetic Kit Case, St. Anne Tote Bag & Duffle Captains Bag all c/o

If you're been around for a while, you know that my love for Barrington Gifts goes deep (see: blog post from 2014). I travel a lot and I always find myself reaching for their tote bag or weekender. Both are a must in any travel girl's closet and are always so versatile.

A fun new product (to me at least) is this cosmetic kit! I have a couple of makeup bags but none really hold up well. They either don't hold very much or they are too flimsy. This bag though... holds SO much and will still stand up straight when you use it.

And of course the very best thing about Barrington Gifts is how you're able to customize every, single, thing. You can pick the color of print, the print, the color of leather, the color of the monogram and the style of monogram. In a nutshell, the bag you pick out is 100% yours!

These items came in just in time for my trip to St Lucia and I'm pumped!! I have a TON of new clothes to bring with me on the trip and I just wanted to share my very favorites with you below!!

Dresses: Hydrangea Shift Dress / Red Ruffle Mini Dress / A-line Flower + Bow Dress
Swim Suits: White Off the Shoulder / Red Scoop Back One Piece
Shoes: Navy + Pearl Slides / Maritime Sandals / Cork Heels
Accessories + Shorts: 7FAM Destroyed Denim Shorts / Sail Boat Scarf

Thanks to Barrington Gifts for sponsoring this post!

I mean, is anyone even surprised at this point? You should just assume that if you see a gingham dress, I own it. It's a problem that I am not willing to fix!

SHOP MY LOOK HERE:

J. Crew: Gingham Midi Dress / Stuart Weitzman: Nudist Heels / Chanel: Quilted Bag (more affordable option HERE) Smashbox: Lipstick in Bang Bang Nordstrom: Pearl Earrings BaubleBar: Mini Monogram

While I would have loved this dress 100x more if it were a regular fit and flare, I'm happy that I'm kind of stepping out of my comfort zone with this midi flare dress. Maybe it's me, but I didn't feel like it complimented my figure. Andrew just says I'm overthinking it. Thoughts?

I know I definitely feel flirty and feminine in it. Maybe I should only care how I feel and now how it might or might not be pictured!

Either way J. Crew is once again killing it this season and trying to make me go broke with all the cute gingham pieces they have! You already know I own this gingham blazer and I how much I love it. I have a few more things lined up as well that will probably be gingham overkill but guys, it's my thing.

A highly requested and really fun/honest neuLASH review is coming your way in three... two...

Lashes with and without makeup on:

And my before and afters: (top is before, bottom is after)

If you've been around for a while, you know that about six months ago I stopped getting lash extensions. While I loved them, they were too expensive to maintain and really tedious to care for. But when I took them off, I finally decided to start giving a lash serum a try.

I have always wanted to use Lastisse since it first came out (what girl doesn't want long eyelashes?) but my eye doctor said no and I found the side effects not something I was willing to gamble with. After I saw a few friends talk about their experience with neuLASH, I decided to give it a go.

I think I bought them during the Nordstrom anniversary sale, when they were basically two tubes for half the price, and I'm still working through them! That was so long ago -- this stuff really lasts.

When I first started, my lashes were sparse from the lash extensions. Then I started using this religiously day and night. It took about two weeks to see a difference and about a month and a half to really notice.

I used it in the morning and at night after I washed my face. I followed the directions to a "T" and applied it like I would eyeliner, right where my lashes meet my eyelid. I basically think of it as watering the crops. You want to get it right at the base!

The results were no joke. My lashes were 100% longer and this stuff really works. I will note -- and you can kind of see it above as well -- they don't make your lashes any thicker (like Latisse does) but they do make them long ... really long.

After a couple of months, I stopped using the product. Half of the reason was that I got lazy and half because I wanted to see what would happen. They say you need to keep up with it or else, and while that is true, it takes a little longer than I thought.

I was always worried that the moment you stop using it your eyelashes would shrink (not really) or fall out. But I stopped for about a month or two and while they weren't growing, they didn't lose too much length.

As I started a new morning and nighttime routine, I brought neuLASH back into the rotation and have been using it day and night for about a month. But now I know if I miss a day or two it's not the end of the world.

All in all, I really love and highly recommend neuLASH if you want longer lashes. There have been ZERO side effects and 100% results. It's totally safe and really easy to use. And while it's on the expensive side ($95 a tube) I believe it's very much worth the money and it will last you a really long time!

What a rough weekend guys. It was filled with highs and lows (really low last night). BUT I have my sister's wedding and Saint Lucia to look forward to THIS WEEKEND. Even if my BIL and I made a bet on the UK/UNC game, it'll still be good to see him.

SHOP MY LOOK HERE:

Topshop: Gingahm Skater Dress / Brixton: Joanna Straw Hat (only $44!) / Chanel: Black Flats (identical HERE) / Givenchy: Mini Antigona (also HERE) / Smashbox: Lipstick in Bang Bang / Nordstrom: Pearl Earrings / BaubleBar: Mini Monogram

If there is anything I learned from looking at these photos it's that my skin is BEGGING to see the sun. Woof, am I super duper pale. I'm always pale, but this ... this looks like the sun hasn't shown its beautiful face in New York City since 2016 and my legs have been held hostage by jeans for six months (part of this is true).

And while of course this is another gingham dress, I do want to point out that it's black gingham, not blue, which I kind of hate but the dress is too cute not to like. The little ties (which equate to bows in my mind) are such a fun touch. And it's under $76!

But to be real for a second, I was just happy for another excuse to wear my favorite straw hat. This bad boy is ONLY $44 and is the beesssttttt hat ever. I wear it all the time during the summer and especially when I'm on vacation. Better believe this hat is coming with me next weekend!

Betsy Johnson: Fit and Flare Dress / YSL: Wallet on a Chain / Schutz: Tan Heels (similar here) / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings / Baublebar: Mini Monogram Necklace

We all can agree that I love dresses. I think I love them because of how simple they are and how put together they look. When you're wearing a dress you get to skip the pants (best part) and really only have to worry about wearing the right shoes. The rest is taken care of.

For my body type, fit and flare dresses are the most flattering. I love that they are tight around the chest and then gives my hips some wiggle room. I especially love when they have pockets (which this dress does).

I posted this dress earlier in the week and some of you asked about what kind of bra I wear with it (especially because of the back). When I first tried it on, I wore a regular bra and it didn't show at all. But since the dress is such a thick material, I went no bra as I do when I can get away with it. Another reason to love a fit and flare!

The dress is pretty TTS except it's small in the chest area. I would size up if you're a full C or above. I'm wearing a six but my chest could use an eight!

Also is this dress not super reminiscent of this one from 2015? I remember I just got over the flu in these photos... #skinny
