Cable Knit Tunic Sweater
Wednesday, November 2, 2016Fall layers anyone? J. Crew has been on its game lately and I love it. I've just about spent every weekend there shopping for new items and falling in love. Today I'm mixing a classic with two new pieces for fall.

I'll be the first to admit that I've been pretty uninspired lately from clothes and outfits for the blog. I mean how many times can you post about a sweater and jeans (more looks like that coming next week)? Fall, while amazing, can become very repetitive and can get a little stale.
So with todays look this is me trying to mix things up. I didn't want to go the traditional long tunic jeans route and I knew I wanted to wear this skirt again... So I paired them together. I thought I was super original until I was linking up this sweater and saw the model wearing a skirt with it too. Humph.
Either way, I really like this look for fall because it's something different. I like the layering, I like the mismatched lines, the way it brings a pop of color to the place... It just works.
And surprisingly I was not expecting to like this sweater as much as I do. Usually really long sweaters (with my bum) don't lay well over the hump and it causes me to just look a lot wider. But not this sweater! It's heavy and has a really nice split on the side so it lays perfectly. It runs very big so I snagged it in a size small!
