This has officially become my dress of the summer. I ended up buying it because I had to return something in the store and was looking for something simple and easy for my Exuma trip. I must have passed over this dress two or three times when I was shopping and then finally came back to it. So glad I did!!
I tried it on in my usual M size but I looked like I was nine months along!! But the dress was soooo cute so I grabbed the S and it fit great. It's obviously meant to be flowy but I think the smaller size provided the perfect amount. I tried on the XS to be sure and it was cutting into my armpits so I was pretty sure.
I wore this as a coverup on our excursion, to dinner one night at the hotel, golfing (I was just driving) and then again for our flight home. Since then, I also wore it to Andrew's house for a birthday party. I mean... I kind of really love this dress!!!
What I think is so interesting about it is that it has two little clasps at the top right (my left with it on) instead of in the back. So that's how you get it on and off and honestly, I think, how it fits so well around your neckline.
The fabric is a light cotton material and really just perfect for those hot summer days. The dress itself makes me feel very vintage chic. That's why for the second time I wore it (the pictures out front) I paired it with my new Kate Spade cat eye sunglasses. I totally loved the look.
I can't wait to wear it again soon!! Which look was your favorite? With the white Jack Rogers or the Cat Eye Sunglasses??
