What do you do when you don't have OTK black boots? You make some DIY ones with a pair of black booties and knee highs. And you rock it!

I "totally" feel like I just stepped out of the movie Clueless and I'm not mad about it. I love this look! So fun for fall but also pretty preppy. I forgot how much I love to wear knee high socks. It for sure explains my obsession with my OTK boots!

I (currently) down own a pair of black OTK boots so I made a little lookalike pair with some black booties and socks. I think it kind of works, right?? I will for sure have this look on repeat again soon.

Also, totally didn't mean to coordinate with the trees here. But I'm glad I did! It makes the look a whole lot more fun and interesting. I can't believe we still have great leaves around the suburbs. We really got lucky with this fall -- it was/is simply spectacular!
