Pumpkin Picking
Wednesday, October 28, 2015I finally went pumpkin picking and I loved it (as you'll see from the photos below). Not only did we pick out some amazing pumpkins this late in the season, we also carved them later that day. It was like we were kids again and it was awesome.

I've been bugging Andrew for so long to take me pumpkin picking (he has a car so I physically could not go without him) and I honestly didn't think we would get to go this year. October is hard for travel because of the MLB postseason and it means we don't have many free weekends together.
Luckily, things played out well and we've been able to enjoy some fall weather and finally cross pumpkin picking off my list of things to do.
While it was super late in the month to go picking, it meant that we had the place to ourselves! It was a nice little field with a ton of pumpkins to choose from. Isn't it crazy that this is my first time ever picking pumpkins? First apple picking and now this ... I'm on a roll!
Plus pumpkin picking was the perfect time to break out my new vest (!!) that I'm OB-sessed with. It's basically all you ever want and need in a vest. It's waxed, it has suede, it's olive, it has the two-in-one top/side pocket, it's from Vineyard Vines ... the list goes on! Gah. You need this in your closet for fall. I have no doubt this will sell so fast!
