70's Inspired Dinner at Waterbar SF

One of my favorite looks from San Francisco was the night we went to Waterbar for dinner. I think the reason I loved it so much was because it was totally different than anything I've worn before and...
Bailey 44: Tippi Top / ASOS: 70's Stripe Knitted Cape / TopShop: Suede A-Line Skirt / Report: Lipton Over the Knee Boot / Celine: Nano Luggage [similar] / Vince Camuto: Rectangle Bracelet / Majorica: Pearl Earrings
I think I especially loved this look because it was the first time I was really able to layer this year! I mean, this outfit is pure fall and the perfect look for dinner by the water.
The thing I love most about this look is that is easily changeable. If it gets too hot during the day or if the cape just becomes too much, take it off and wear the tank top turtleneck. That way you're still in the fall frame of mind with a suede skirt but more appropriately dressed for warmer weather.
You can see the last time I styled this skirt here.
And just like last year, I love capes/ponchos/capulets... anything! I think they're the perfect fall and winter accessory and there's no doubt I'm going to stock up on more. This was the second one I bought this season and I really love it because it pulls in all the fall color palate into one.
What I really love about this cape is that it's only $57! For such a fall staple, that's a steal!
