Who is ready to start transitioning their wardrobe to fall?
*No one raises their hands*
GREAT! Well keep reading anyway
ASOS: Navy Summer Cape / Topshop: Suede Skirt [cheaper version here] / Mott50: Long Sleeve Top / Fendi: Petite 2Jours Purse / Joie: White Cage Heel [old; similar version] / Saint Laurent: Crystal Sunglasses [old; similar] / Kendra Scott: Rayne Tassel Necklace / David Yurman: Pearl Earrings
Second, the structure of this is just so classy and high end. It makes me feel like I'm worth a million bucks and I just love clothes that make you feel good! The navy paired with the white and suede is also a really fun combo that I will see recreated a lot this fall with my wardrobe.
Before I get into it, can we also take a moment to talk about suede skirts? I see them everywhere lately and color me obsessed with them! I totally feel like I'm a cool girl from the 70's and I think my mom will get a good kick out of this outfit. Did I mention they go with everything? Because they do.
SO if you remember this post from the other week we talked about how to properly transition your wardrobe to fall and I had a mini rant session. I gained such a great response from it, I thought I would do it again!
A great way to transition is by owning some capes. They're like jackets (for fall) without sleeves (for summer) and they'll keep you breezy but looking cool (there are so many puns right now I can't stand it).
Another way? Suede skirts and shorts. The fabric is heavy duty and meant for cooler temps but if you wear them in small amounts at a time... say a mini front zip skirt.... then you can totally get away with it for summer!
