NYC Restaurant Guide: Blue Smoke
Thursday, August 6, 2015My first NYC restaurant guide. Who's excited??
I've been meaning to get around to making restaurant guides for some time now but I seriously always forget to take photos. Do you know the self restraint it takes to snap photos over eating? It's hard, y'all.
We recently visited Blue Smoke when we were downtown visiting One World Trade (see that post here). It was our first time and we really enjoyed it!
The location was pretttty great seeing as one view (pictured above) is of One World Trade and the other is the water, if you sit outside of course. The surrounding area is also pretty great, filled with young professionals and families; very quiet and clean. Are we sure we're still in New York?
For dinner Andrew and I decided to share everything. We were unsure of how hungry we were and the sides were more than enough to feed one person. So we got a full slab of ribs, mac and cheese and zucchini.
If you go, get the mac and cheese. This is not a drill.
You can see what I wore in this post here.
The details:
What: Blue Smoke
Where: 255 Vesey St (between West Street & North End Ave)
How to get there: Subway (A, C, E) or cab.
Must Order: Mac and Cheese
